Authorities Seeking Information About Incident that Led to Death of Riverside Man

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Authorities are seeking information about an incident that led to the death of a 22-year-old Riverside man.

On Friday, February 8, 2019, at around 6:20 p.m., Riverside Fire Department responded to the report of an unresponsive man in the 7400 block of El Sol Way. When they arrived they found the unconscious man and called Riverside Police Department officers to investigate the incident. The victim’s condition was listed as “grave” and emergency medical personnel immediately began lifesaving measures in an attempt to sustain the victim’s life. The victim, later identified as Jordan Love, was transported to the hospital where it was determined that he was suffering from major head trauma. Love’s condition did not improve and he ultimately died on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, as a result of his injuries.

The case is being investigated as a homicide. Many residents were at the location when officers arrived, but all were less than forthcoming with information.
