HESPERIA– Authorities are seeking the public’s help for an unknown Hispanic male suspect who allegedly robbed a liquor store and carjacked a vehicle.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the 15600 block of Bear Valley Road from a silent panic alarm. When deputies arrived at the scene it was explained to deputies that an armed robbery and a carjacking had just occurred.
Sheriff deputies were made aware that customers of Royal Liquor had been carjacked after entering their vehicle. An armed robber approached their vehicle, pulled out a black handgun, struck the liquor store patron several times, and demanded that the victim give him money.
The victim tried to fight the assailant back to no avail. The victims 2009 gray Nissan Altima was taken and has not yet been located. The suspect has been described as a male Hispanic with a medium build, a goatee beard, and wearing eyeglasses.
Investigators with the Hesperia Sheriff’s Department are seeking the public’s help in locating this individual. If you have any information regarding this Case No. 191702734, you are urged to contact the Hesperia Station at (760)947-1500.
