BARSTOW, Ca. – Barstow Community Hospital (BCH) announced on Sunday, March 22, 2020, that they are treating a patient who has tested positive for COVID-19.
This comes after several emergency medical personnel in Victorville were quarantined as a precaution last week after responding to a patient who displayed COVID-19 symptoms. BCH officials said that it is one patient and no others have been treated at their hospital. “We are working closely with the San Bernardino Department of Public Health on this matter and are taking all measures to help prevent the spread of this illness,” hospital officials said.
