BARSTOW, Calif. – A Barstow couple was arrested for the possession of PCP and Methamphetamine for the purpose of sale and violation of probation.
At around 3:00 p.m., on Wednesday, August 7. 2019, a probation search was conducted at a home in the 1900 block of East Main Street in Barstow. Detectives made contact with David Dewayne Preston Sr., 38, and Athena Damiana Lee a.k.a. Athena Damiana Wisdom, 30. During the search of their room, two large vials of suspected phencyclidine (PCP) and two balloons of suspected methamphetamine were found.
A records check indicated that both Preston and Lee (Wisdom) had active felony warrants for their arrests. Both were arrested and booked into jail for Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale, Possession of PCP for sale, and Probation Violation. Lee (Wisdom) is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail and Preston is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail. Both are scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Friday afternoon.
