VICTORVILLE, Calif. – A bicyclist was airlifted after being struck by a vehicle on Friday night.
The collision was reported at around 11:35 p.m., the reporting party said that the bicyclist was crossing Palmdale Road near Borrego Road when the bicyclist was struck by a black sedan. The bicyclist suffered significant head injuries and was airlifted from the scene to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Sheriff’s officials said that the road was partially closed in the area for patient transport and the investigation. The driver remained at the scene for the investigation.
