Bloomington Residents Shot at After Coming Home to Find Intruder in their Vehicle

BLOOMINGTON – As a vehicle approached their home on Friday night, the residents saw an unknown person inside their parked truck.

At around 10:47 p.m. the residents of a home near 9th and Birch Streets approached their home. A man got out of their truck and got into the passenger side of a white 4-door vehicle. The victims continued to drive to their home and the suspect in the driver seat got out and fired multiple shots at the occupied victim vehicle. Bullets struck the vehicle, then the suspect got back into the white, suspect vehicle and fled the scene. No one was injured as a result of the shooting.
