CORONA – The body of an abandoned infant was found in the area of Cajalco Road and Interstate 15 in the City of Corona.
Corona Police arrived at the scene and was directed to the location where the deceased infant was found. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Coroner responded to the location and took custody of the infant to determine the cause of death.

The Corona Police Department would like to remind everyone that the City of Corona offers several Safe Surrender Sites, where parents can safely surrender an infant within 72 hours of birth, with no questions asked.
