UPDATE : Toddler Found Safe and Father Arrested

UPDATE:  Suspect Daniel Segura and his daughter Lexi Segura were located at 9:20 a.m. on Tuesday morning. The father and daughter were located in a gray Chevy Malibu near Holt Boulevard and Monte Vista Avenue in the City of Montclair.  A traffic stop was conducted and Segura was taken into custody without incident and will be booked at the West Valley Detention Center for child abduction. A handgun was located on Segura at the time of arrest.

Lexi Segura was inside the vehicle and was in good physical condition. She is now being reunited with her mother.

RANCHO CUCAMONGA – A one-year-old girl was abducted from Rancho Cucamonga on Monday evening officials said.

Lexi Segura, 1, a Hispanic toddler was last seen at 5:40 p.m. with the suspect, Daniel Segura, a 38-year-old Hispanic man. Daniel is the father of Lexi Rancho Cucamonga Police said. 

Lexi is described as being approximately 3’ tall, 35 pounds and she has brown hair and eyes. She was last seen wearing a baby blue shirt with gold writing, blue jeans, and pink shoes. Daniel Segura is approximately 5’5” tall and around 170 pounds. He also has brown hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark t-shirt, dark baseball cap, and blue jeans.

Daniel Segura has multiple tattoos on his arms and neck. He should be considered to be armed and dangerous. The two were last seen in a 2012 red Mitsubishi Galant, with a California License plate number 6WEE209.

An Amber Alert has been issued by the California Highway Patrol (CHP) on behalf of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. This Amber Alert is in effect for San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, and Los Angeles County. If you see Daniel and/or Lexi Segura or the suspect vehicle you should immediately dial 911.
