ADELANTO – The City of Adelanto is announcing both exciting holiday events and their new alternate office hours in recognition of Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s day. Normally the city is closed every Friday, but the new adjusted schedule will be as follows:

Office Hours:
Closed Thursday, November 9th in recognition of Veteran’s Day
Wednesday, November 2nd through Friday, November 24th in recognition of Thanksgiving Day

Wednesday, November 8th schedules
Wednesday, November 22nd cancelled
December
Office Hours
Closed Friday, December 22nd through December 26th for Christmas holiday
Reopening December 27th and 28th
Closed Friday, December 29th to January 2nd
Reopening January 3rd

Cindy Herrera, the Administrative Services Director said that the City of Adelanto is planning some exciting upcoming events. On November 30th, at 6:30 p.m. there will be a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Adelanto City Hall. On December 9th, starting at 10:00 a.m. on the corner of Seneca and Aster Roads there will be the 13th Annual Christmas Parade, which ends at Desert Trails Elementary School. The City will also be celebrating their 47th Anniversary, which will be celebrated during their December 12th City Council meeting.
