COLTON – A Colton woman was arrested on Sunday morning for lewd acts with a minor, officials said. Late Saturday night the Colton Police Department contacted the Central Sheriff’s Station for a suspected crime that occurred in the 300 block of Kelly Lane, unincorporated area of Colton. The Colton Police told them that they located a juvenile who said they were a victim of a sex crime, officials said.
Deputies made contact with the victim, who was transported to a local hospital for an exam. The following morning a search and arrest warrant was requested and granted. At around 9:30 a.m. on Sunday deputies served the search warrant and Kenia Hernandez, 27 was arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center for lewd acts with a minor as well as other related charges.
