LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The parents of a 5 ½-month-old boy were charged in connection with his death officials said.
Adam Manson, 34, and Kiana Williams, 33, were staying in a South Los Angeles motel room with their baby boy, Jacsun Manson on December 31, 2018. The couple was, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office, using drugs. Later, the couple found that their baby was dead.
The two allegedly put the deceased baby boy into a suitcase and threw it in a dumpster near the Crenshaw Mall. The body of the baby has not yet been located. The baby had not been seen alive since he was seen in a vehicle allegedly stolen by the couple and was reported missing by Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services on Jan. 25, 2019.
Both Manson and Williams were charged with one count of child abuse resulting in death and face up to 10 years in prison if convicted as charged.
