CAJON PASS, Calif. – A death investigation is underway after the body of a deceased female was located in the area of Lone Pine Canyon Road, East of State Highway 138.
The discovery was reported on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at around 10:02 a.m. Deputies responded to the area for the report of the possible deceased victim located off of the roadway down an embankment. When they arrived they located the deceased female. A death investigation is being conducted. A autopsy will be conducted to determine the exact cause and manner of death. The investigation is ongoing, information will be released when it becomes available.
