DESERT HOT SPRINGS, Ca. – Desert Hot Springs Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on Wednesday morning at around 9:00 a.m.
When they arrived at the scene, near Acoma Avenue and Cactus Drive, they located a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The male victim was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment. No arrests have been made at this time. Authorities are attempting to identify the suspect involved in the shooting. The incident remains under investigation.
As a result of the investigation, the following roads are closed:
Pierson Boulevard to Cahuilla Avenue
Palm Drive to West Drive
