LITTLEROCK, Calif. – Detectives from the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station are asking for the public’s help to identify the suspect responsible for stealing approximately $14000 worth of diesel fuel.
On December 14, 2018, at around 1:00 a.m., the suspect pictured stole diesel gas from the Chevron gas station located at 7225 Pearblossom Highway in Littlerock. The suspect was involved with multiple thefts of fuel at the same station. The station attendants were waiting for his return and when he arrived and began pumping gas. He reached into the pickup truck and removed the keys and fled the location on foot. Authorities said that the suspect steals the gas by modifying the electrical panel of the gas pump and bypassing controls that allow him to pump without paying.
The suspect pumps the gas into a modified tank in the bed of the truck. The suspect vehicle is a silver Dodge 3500, The vehicle is registered to a Pomona owner. The owner’s connection to the crime is unknown but under investigation at this time.
