HESPERIA, Ca. – Five were arrested following a September 18, 2019, afternoon fight in the parking lot of Sultana High School.
The fight was believed to be gang related, with members of the “Thee Rascals Criminal Street Gang” being involved. It was quickly learned that the subjects involved were not students at the school. The incident was investigation by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department High Desert Regional Gang Team for investigation. On September 25, 2019, authorities said that arrest and search warrants were served in relation to the fight.
Jonathan David Rubio, 20, of Victorville, Efrain Isaiah Molina, 19, of Hesperia, Brian Andrew Gonzalez, 20, of Hesperia, Christina Penaloza, 19, of Hesperia, and two 17-year-old juveniles were identified as suspects. All were arrested, the adults were booked into the High Desert Detention Center and the two teens were booked at the High Desert Juvenile Detention and Assessment Center.
Police said that “Thee Rascals Criminal Street Gang” indicia were recovered during the operation. All remain in custody besides forGonzalez, who was released on September 30th.
