FONTANA, Calif. – A Fontana man was arrested for the distribution of child pornography using social media.
Detectives were made aware that Jose Antonio Arauz-Paredes, 47, was suspected of distributing the illicit materials over the internet. They obtained a search warrant and conducted a search of his home in the 17000 block of Owen Street in the City of Fontana on Wednesday, April 24, 2019. During the search, Jose arrived home and was detained. A search of his electronic storage devices revealed evidence of downloading, viewing, and distribution of child pornography.
Jose was booked into the West Valley Detention Center.
