CHINO – A 19-year-old man, who was a former Ayala High School student was arrested for threatening to shoot up the school.
At around 3:00 p.m. deputies from the Chino Hills station were dispatched to Ruben S. Ayala High School for the report of a former student who made threats toward the school. The school was closed when authorities were notified about the threat. Like all threats made to schools, authorities took the threat seriously and began an investigation which led to Nicholas Ceballos.
A search warrant was obtained for his home and on Tuesday at around 12:38 a.m. Ceballos was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for Criminal Threats.
