The San Bernardino County Transitional Assistance Department will be offering free tax preparation and efiling services. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) service is offered for San Bernardino County taxpayers with a maximum income of $55,000 per return.
Tax services begin on January 29, 2018 and end on April 17, 2018. Appointments are not required, but are encouraged. Most walk-ins will be taken on a first come, first serve basis after those with appointments.
