RIVERSIDE – Several bystanders rescued an injured driver from a burning vehicle on Monday afternoon. Just after 1:00 p.m. the Riverside Fire Department and American Medical Response (AMR) responded to a single vehicle traffic collision at Alessandro Boulevard and Mission Grove Parkway. The reporting party told dispatchers that the vehicle was on fire and the driver of the vehicle was inside of the vehicle trapped.

The injured driver was removed from the vehicle by three to four bystanders before the fire department arrived.
