GRAND TERRACE – A Grand Terrace woman was attacked by an unknown suspect on Friday night. At around 8:35 p.m. the woman returned to her home in the 12000 block of Dos Rios Avenue in Grand Terrace. She walked around to her backyard to turn off her sprinklers and she noticed someone standing in the corner of her backyard.
The male suspect, described as being White or Hispanic attacked the woman knocking her onto the ground while continuing to assault her. The woman continued to fight and was able fight the suspect off. She ran into her home and the suspect fled the location.
Ground and air units searched to for the suspect, but were not able to locate him. The suspect is described as being around 5’5” to 5’8” tall, and described as having a stocky build. He also had an unknown tattoo on the top of his left hand and was wearing a dark hoodie that covered his face, dark-colored jeans and dark shoes.
