HEMET – A 31-year-old Hemet man was arrested Monday morning for being a felon in possession of a firearm. Not only did Boh Underwood have a stolen firearm but it was a stolen firearm reported stolen over a week prior by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department – Rancho Cucamonga Station.
At around 3:40 a.m. an officer recognized Underwood, a felon who was wanted for vehicle theft, as he walked near San Jacinto and Whittier Avenue. The search revealed the 9mm semi-automatic gun. Underwood was arrested and transported to a Riverside County Jail.
He is being held in lieu of $110,000 bail, $100,000 for the warrant and $10,000 for being in possession of the weapon.
