HEMET – A 32-year-old man was shot and killed in the 300 block of north Hamilton Avenue in the City of Hemet. On Sunday night at around 10:00 p.m. police were dispatched to the shots heard call. When they arrived, just minutes later they located the victim later identified as Jabarge Singleton lying unresponsive in the roadway.
Emergency aid was administered in an attempt to save his life as Singleton was rushed to the hospital. Singleton was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.
Hemet Police Detectives responded to the scene to conduct an investigation. Authorities are still seeking the whereabouts and identity of the suspects involved. The investigation is ongoing, and a motive has not been determined at this time. Anyone with further information regarding this case is asked to contact Detective G. Alvarez at 951.765.2426.
