HESPERIA – A 36-year-old Hesperia man was arrested on Sunday evening after he threatened to kill his neighbor authorities said.
At around 7:00 p.m. deputies from the 15800 block of El Centro Street. Authorities said that Christopher Allen Rosas got into a verbal altercation over tools. The argument escalated and Rosas grabbed an object and hit the victim. “Prior to deputy arrival Rosas also made threats to kill the victim if he went to jail,” said Hesperia Station spokeswoman Jaclyn Chambers. The victim sustained only minor injuries as a result of the assault.
Rosas was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats. He is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
