HESPERIA, Calif. – A Hesperia man was arrested for the continuous sexual abuse of a juvenile family member.
The arrest came after the victim, who is now 14-years-old told her family members that Fernando Antonio Ramos, 46, had been sexually abusing her since she was 5-years-old. The victim spoke to deputies at the Hesperia Station. Deputies investigated the allegations against Ramos and subsequently arrested him at a home near Maple Avenue and Mesa Street.
Ramos was booked at the High Desert Detention Center for Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a Child under 14, Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child, Oral Copulation of a person under 14-years-old and Sex with Victim Under 14. He has since been transferred to the West Valley Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of $500,000. Ramos is scheduled to appear in court on the afternoon of January 29, 2019.
