VICTORVILLE, Ca. – A Hesperia man was arrested for the murder of his girlfriend, a Vicorville woman.
On Friday, March 6, 2020, at around 3:27 p.m., deputies from the Hesperia Station responded to the report of a suicidal subject on Manzanita Street. When they arrived they located 36-year-old Eric Alan Quintanar, who was suffering from injuries to his wrists. Authorities said that Quintanar was initially uncooperative. Deputies eventually were able to detain Quintanar and take him to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities received information that Nicole Gadsby, Quintanar’s 27-year-old girlfriend was injured in her Victorville home. Deputies responded to her home located at the 13000 block of Troy Court in the City of Victorville where they found her stabbed to death. Homicide Detectives responded to the home to assume the investigation. It was learned that Quintanar was at Gadsby’s home earlier that afternoon and was responsible for her death.
Quintanar was arrested and booked at West Valley Detention Center for murder and is being held without bail. He is scheduled to appear at the Victorville Superior Court on Tuesday, March 10, 2019.
