SAN BERNARDINO – A 22-year-old Hesperia man lost his life after being ejected from his vehicle on Monday evening CHP officials said.
At around 6:35 p.m. the driver of a black 2000 Honda Prelude was driving northbound on Cajon Boulevard north at Applewhite Road at an unsafe speed. For reasons, which remain under investigation he lost control of the vehicle on a curve striking a mountainside and being tossed from the vehicle. The driver, who was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the collision sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
The name of the deceased man is not released at this time and he was described only as a White male adult. It is unclear if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the crash.
