BARSTOW – California Highway Patrol officials are warning motorist that the extreme winds coupled with blowing dust are causing visibility concerns.
Motorists should reduce speeds and drive carefully. Those who are able to should avoid traveling until the winds have subsided. The dust-filled air is causing unpredictable conditions that CHP officials said can overcome the highways. Temporary closures may be experienced due to low visibility.
