HIGHLAND – A 30-year-old Highland woman was arrested for stabbing her boyfriend with a pair of scissors on Thursday night.
At around 10:05 p.m. deputies found a man walking who was bleeding profusely from a stab wound in the area of Baseline Street and Sterling Avenue. The deputy called for medical aid and the Highland City Fire and AMR arrived at the scene and rushed the male victim to a nearby hospital.
Through investigation, it was learned that his girlfriend, Clorinda Garcia stabbed him during an argument. Garcia, a known transient was located at her transient campsite and was arrested for Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Garcia was booked into the Central Detention Center and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
