BARSTOW – An ongoing investigation of the High Noon Saloon in Barstow led to the discovery of illegal gaming tables, machines, and documents related to illegal gambling on Wednesday. The search warrant search was conducted at the saloon located at 30386 Old State Highway 58 as a result of allegations of illegal gambling.
Both single and multi-player gaming tables and other gambling-related items were seized from the business. Part of the seizure included a quantity of money believed to be from the illegal gambling. The investigation is ongoing. California’s state gambling laws prohibit the operations of such businesses. Convictions of these felony crimes can be punishable by a fine of up to $5,000 and/or a year in state prison.
