Intruder Molests Married Woman While Husband Lays Sound Asleep

VICTORVILLE- A Married woman was awakened by an intruder fondling her while she was asleep lying next to her husband. The victim yelled awakening her spouse and the intruder fled the scene.

On October 14, 2016, a little after 1:00pm an officer from the Victorville Police Department were called out to investigate a break-in. Deputies learned that an intruder later identified as Jason Anthony Rovira, 32 of Victorville had unlawfully entered a residence. After entering the residence Mr. Rovira went to the bedroom where the husband and wife were fast asleep. He stood over the adult female and began touching her underneath her shirt. The female adult was awoken by Mr. Rovira touching, awakening her husband. Mr. Rovira fled the scene exiting through the bedroom window.

On October 21, 2016, a detective from the Victorville Police Department was informed that a positive match had been made from fingerprints that were gathered at the crime scene from the night of the incident. A detective from the Victorville Police Department authored a search warrant for the suspects home. During the search detectives located property linked to the suspected break-in.
Jason Anthony Rovira was interviewed and arrested by the Victorville Police. He was charged with Burglary with intent to commit rape and scheduled to appear in Victorville Superior Court on October 28, 2016.
