Juvenile Arrested for School Burglary and Three Others Arrested During Probation Search
RIVERSIDE – Riverside Police officers, while investigating a June 2016 burglary that occurred at Collette Elementary School made one arrest related to the burglary and three unrelated arrests.
During the investigation, authorities matched fingerprints left at the scene of the school burglary with a juvenile who was on probation for burglary. On Thursday, January 26, 2017, detectives conducted a search at the home of the juvenile in the 8900 block of Conway. During the search, they made contact with and arrested the juvenile suspect into Juvenile Hall for the school burglary.
Detectives continued to search the home and located a juvenile who had a felony warrant and be was also booked into Juvenile Hall. Also at the location, detectives located items consistent with identity theft. Raudel Sotelo, 23, who was on parole for identity theft and Claudia Flores, 27, who had a misdemeanor warrant for mail theft were arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for identity theft based on the evidence located.
