BARSTOW, Calif. – A tip received by the Kern County Sheriff’s Department regarding murder suspect, Esteban Briseno led to his arrest on Tuesday, officials said.
With the assistance of the Barstow Police Department, Esteban Briseno, 27, of Bakersfield was located and taken into custody without incident. Briseno is suspected of the murder of Kyle Ramirez, 31, on April 14, 2018, in Rosamond. Jaime Briseno Perez was arrested at the crime scene and was charged with murder, and remains in custody pending court proceedings.
Through the continued investigation, an additional suspect, 27-year-old Esteban Briseno, was identified. On July 30, 2019, KCSO requested the public’s help locating the suspect.
