WASCO, Ca. – A 37-year-old Wasco man was shot and killed in the 2300 block of Camellia Street in Wasco, California (24 miles northwest of Bakersfield).
On August 27, 2019, at around 9:20 p.m., Kern County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the Communications Center reporting that the Kern County Fire Department personnel were at the scene of a medical aid. The patient was learned to be suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Deputies responded to the scene to conduct an investigation.
Miguel Ibarra Lopez was pronounced deceased at the scene. Homicide detectives arrived at the scene to assume the investigation.
