FONTANA, Calif. – A kidnapped pregnant woman was located after several hours of going missing after he ex-boyfriend forcefully shoved her into his vehicle Thursday evening.
On Thursday, March 14, 2019, at around 6:30 p.m., an officer with the Fontana Police was in the area of the 9800 block of Pepper Avenue when he was frantically flagged down. When he made contact he learned that the female adult (victim) lives in the area and was taken by force. Witnesses reported that she was thrown in the back seat of the black 2012 Nissan Altima.
The suspect was her ex-boyfriend,Nicholas Hernandez, 20, of Rialto. The victim is believed to be 5 months pregnant with Hernandez believed to be the father. Witness said they heard her screan, “let go” several times as he forced her into the car.
Hours later, just after midnight on Friday, police detectives located Hernandez, who was with the victim who was not injured. Authorities are not releasing any other information at this time due to the ongoing investigation. There is no public arrest information for Hernandez at this time.
