La Quinta Man Arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine for Purpose of Sale

INDIO – A La Quinta man was arrested after being caught in possession of drugs that were evidently in his possession for the purpose of sales officials said.

Salvador Arroyo, 32, was approached by the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force as they were conducting a proactive patrol near the 81000 block of Highway 111 in the City of Indio. In his possession, they located 2.5 ounces of methamphetamine, cash, and a scale. Arroyo was arrested for possession of methamphetamine for sales and booked at the Indio Jail.
