CRESTLINE – A man and woman were arrested after Twin Peak Station deputies and social workers from the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) went to a Crestline home to check the well being of a 10-year-old girl. The search warrant was obtained by the DCFS worker in order to check on the child who was living at the home.
On Friday, May 19, 2017, at around 2:00 p.m. authorities arrived at the home in the 24400 block of Horst Drive in Crestline. The girl, Lloyd Marcus, 60, and Tiffeney Moody, 46 were located at the home. Almost immediately, in plain sight, while the deputies were securing the home they located 16 methamphetamine pipes and 15 grams of methamphetamine inside. These items were easily accessible to the child.
Moody and Marcus were booked into the West Valley Detention Center for Cruelty to Child. Both were released on bail. If you have any information regarding this case, please contact Deputy Shelby Swanson at the Twin Peaks Station, (909) 336-0600 or WeTip 1-800-78-CRIME.
