HESPERIA – Over 3 pounds of Crystal Meth were located on Thursday afternoon when a Hesperia Station deputy stopped a vehicle for bad tags and for the driver not being restrained by a seat belt.
A vehicle driven by Martin Entler, 47, of Victorville was stopped just after 1:52 p.m. in the area of Palm Street and Third Avenue in the City of Hesperia. Entler pulled over near a Third Street home and anxiously attempted to get out of the vehicle prior to the deputy approaching the vehicle. Entler gave the deputy a false identification card which belonged to someone from Texas who lost his wallet earlier in the year.
The deputy searched the vehicle and found the 3 pounds of Crystal Meth in the passenger seat of the vehicle along with over $200 in cash. Entler was arrested and booked into the High Desert Detention Center for Transportation of Narcotics and Falsely Impersonating Another Person.
