CHINO HILLS – A 63-year-old Chino Hills man was arrested for the continuous abuse of a minor and meeting a minor to engage in lewd acts on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.
The arrest came after a 21-year-old man reported in May 2018, that he was molested multiple times by David William Robinson when he was 11-12-years-old. The victim told authorities that he was being babysat at a daycare at Robinson’s Chino Hills home near East End Avenue and Riverside Drive at the time. The business has since been closed for an unrelated reason. On Tuesday, June 5, 2018, at around 1:30 p.m. a detective posed as a 14-year-old boy and sent text messages to Robinson who arranged to meet with the boy.
Robinson was arrested for the continuous sexual abuse of the teen and for meeting the minor to engage in lewd acts. He was booked into the West Valley Detention Center, but posted $350,000 bail on June 6, 2018, and was released from custody. Robinson’s photo is being released by authorities since there may be additional victims since Robinson was involved with the home daycare from 1993 to 2016.
