RIVERSIDE – On the afternoon of June 11th a man walked into an antique store on the 3700 block of Mission Inn Avenue and left taking several knives, officials said. At around 2:30 p.m. the Riverside Police responded learning that the subject entered the business asked to see some knives.
The clerk showed him several knives and “he suddenly grabbed the knives, exposed the blades and stated he was taking them”, Riverside Police officials said. He exited the store walking backwards. The suspect later identified as 53-year-old Running Springs resident, Frederick Bobbitt was arrested and booked into jail for robbery.
