Man Shot in Downtown Palm Springs Parking Structure

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – A man was shot in a Palm Strings Parking lot in the early-morning hours of Saturday, officials said.

Just before 2:00 a.m., the Palm Springs Police Department (PSPD) responded to a parking structure at 275 S. Indian Canyon Drive for the report of shots fired. When they arrived they located evidence, which substantiated the report.

Around an hour later, a male victim was taken to Eisenhower Medical Center suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.  The hospital staff told PSPD that the victim reported being shot in Palm Springs.

PSPD is seeking assistance in this investigation from the public and anyone with information is asked to call the Palm Springs Police Department at (760)778-8411 or report information anonymously to Crime Stoppers (760)341-7867.
