PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – A male subject is being treated for a stab wound, possibly as a result of a family disturbance, Palm Spring Police officials said.
On Monday, June 24, 2019, at around 2:15 p.m. police officers from the Palm Springs Police Department responded to the 100 block of S. Sunset Way after a man walked into the location with a stab wound. When officers arrived they made contact with the victim, who they learned walked away from his home near S. Satrumino Drive and E. Tahquitz Canyon Way. He was walking near E. Tahquitz Canyon Way and S. Saturmino Drive, when he was pushed from behind and stabbed. He did not get a good look at the assailant. He was transported to the hospital for a non-life-threatening stab wound.
