HESPERIA, Ca. – A 57-year-old man was struck and killed by an unknown hit-and-run driver, authorities said.
On Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at around 8:53 p.m., deputies from the Hesperia Station responded to the report of a hit-and-run collision on Locust Avenue just north of Mauna Loa Street in the City of Hesperia. When deputies arrived at the scene they found the male pedestrian lying on the roadway. Authorities said that the male subject sustained major injuries as a result of the collision and was pronounced deceased by emergency medical personnel.
The time of the collision is unknown at this time, the driver has not been identified at this time. The victim has not yet been identified and his identity will be released at a later time.
