BLOOMINGTON – A Wednesday, October 19th domestic disturbance led to the arrest of a male Rialto transient in possession of a gun officials said.
At 12:22 a.m. deputies from the Fontana station responded to the Baker’s Drive Thru located at 18775 Valley Boulevard in Bloomington to find the involved female inside with the suspect, later identified as 28-year-old Adrian Leatherman locked outside.
Although Leatherman was initially uncooperative with deputies, he was detained with no further incident. When checking his records deputies learned that Leatherman was on active parole for carjacking. A loaded .380 caliber handgun was found in Leatherman’s pants pocket.
Leatherman was booked into the West Valley Detention Center for being a felon in possession of a loaded firearm and a violation of parole. He is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail and is scheduled to appear at the Rancho Cucamonga Superior Court on Thursday morning.
