RIVERSIDE, Calif. – A large presence of police caused Riverside residents to be on alert on Monday.
Police received a report of someone on the roof of a building near Orange and 14th Streets who was armed with a firearm. Police, including an Aviation Unit responded to the area. No one was on the roof with a gun and there was no active shooter as some residents reported to social media.
The officers cleared the property and determined that there was no threat.
