HESPERIA, Calif. – A Maple Elementary School janitor was arrested for allegedly molesting a 6-year-old student.
The investigation began when the Hesperia Sheriff’s Station received information that Pedro Martinez, 45, of Hesperia, had molested a 6-year-old boy at Maple Elementary School in Hesperia. Through investigation, it was learned that there were additional victims who all corroborated the first victim’s disclosure.
Martinez who was a Maple Elementary School janitor since 2005 was arrested and booked at the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino. He is being held in lieu of $1 million bail. He is facing charges which include Lewd Act with a Child, Oral Copulation, Kidnapping, and Sodomy.
Detectives believe there may be additional victims and are releasing Martinez’s booking photo.
