CORONA – A traffic collision between a MetroLink train and a semi-tractor with trailer occurred at Smith Avenue and Maple Street early Wednesday morning. At around 6:04 a.m. a semi-tractor with trailer attempted to cross the tracks, but did not completely make it. The train hit the trailer causing it to tip as a result of the impact.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, but traffic was delayed for approximately 4 hours so that the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Office and Corona Police could investigate.
