MORENO VALLEY – A sexual assailant was arrested on Saturday after assaulting five women in the Moreno Valley area authorities said. The first three reported assaults took place on Wednesday evening between 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. The unrelated assaults all had victims who reported the Hispanic man who was in his mid 20’s-30’s grabbing their buttocks or other private areas while they shopped at a business near Ironwood Avenue and Graham Street.
On Friday two additional women reported a man with a matching description assaulting them also. At around 7:35 a.m. the fourth suspect said that while she was walking near Fall River Road and Albion Way the man passed by her and grabbed her breast. About 10 minutes later a fifth woman reported the man coming up behind her on Hemlock Avenue and Graham Street also touching her breast area. In all cases, the suspect reportedly walked or ran away from the scene.
At 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, Moreno Valley Police contacted a man who was standing in the roadway near the 24000 block of Atwood. Police noticed that the man matched the description of the man who assaulted several women over a two day period and took 24-year-old Moreno Valley Rudy Dominguez into custody and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for multiple counts of sexual battery.
