MUSCOY – A commercial burglary in Highland led to the arrest of three Los Angeles residents on Sunday morning. At around 6:00 a.m. deputies responded to an audible alarm at a business in the 1900 block of West Highland Avenue in Muscoy. When the deputy arrived he saw a male suspect running from the business. He requested additional units respond to the scene to set up a perimeter. Soon after the perimeter was in place, the suspect and two additional male subjects were detained.
Deputies learned that the suspect vehicle was left at the business as they fled on foot. Inside the vehicle deputies located property from the business including cash, cigarettes, and alcohol. Willik Mosby, 20, Cory Ervin, 23, and Semaj Brown, 18, all residents of Los Angeles were booked into the Central Detention Center. The recovered property was returned to the business owner.
