APPLE VALLEY – Authorities are investigating an armed robbery that took place at the High Desert Liquor store on Wednesday night.
At around 8:45 p.m. deputies from the Apple Valley station responded to the store located at 22020 Bear Valley Road in the Town of Apple Valley reference an armed robbery which had just occurred. The suspect, described as a heavy build, around 6’ tall, White adult male entered the store wearing a mask. Armed with a handgun, he approached the employees and stole the cash drawer which contained an undisclosed amount of cash. He then fled south on Navajo Road in a vehicle only described by witnesses as white.
