VICTORVILLE – A male victim was robbed at gunpoint in the City of Victorville on Wednesday night.
At around 10:00 p.m., according to the victim, the suspect approached him in the 16900 block of Nisqualli Road. The suspect asked the victim if he was affiliated with a gang. “The suspect then brandished a handgun and demanded his money, jewelry, and keys,” said Victorville Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez. “The victim complied and the suspect fled.”
Deputies from the Victorville Station responded to the report and did an extensive area check, but were unable to locate the suspect or the stolen property. No arrests have been made at this time. The suspect was described as being a Black man in his mid-20’s, who is 5’7” tall and 180 pounds. He was described as having short black hair and tattoos on his face. He was wearing a brown shirt and carrying a silver handgun.
